Brooke Christa Shields (born May 31, 1965) is an American actress and model. She graduated with the class of 1983 from The Dwight-Englewood School in Englewood, New Jersey. Shields was a child model and, in 1978, starred in the controversial film Pretty Baby about a child prostitute. She is best known for her roles in The Blue Lagoon, Endless Love, and the hit television show Suddenly Susan.
