Anthony Kiedis (born November 1, 1962) is an American singer and musician. He graduated with the class of 1980 from Fairfax High School in Los Angeles, California. In high school, he was part of the Play Production and Thespians club. Kiedis is best known as the lead vocalist of the Red Hot Chili Peppers. He is one of the co-founding members of the Red Hot Chili Peppers along with close friend and bandmate Flea. Kiedis burst into the rock scene with the Red Hot Chili Peppers and their debut album self-titled, The Red Hot Chili Peppers in 1984.
