Denzel Hayes Washington, Jr. (born December 28, 1954) is an American actor, director and producer. He attended Mainland High School in Daytona Beach, Florida. In high school, he played on the football team. He is best known for his roles in films Glory, Training Day, Malcolm X, Philadelphia, Remember the Titans and American Gangster.
