Eva Jacqueline Longoria Baston (born March 15, 1975) is an actress, producer, and activist. She is a 1993 graduate of Miller High School, in Corpus Christi, TX, where she was Head Drum Major for the school’s Showband. Longoria’s first foray into show business was a guest spot on a 1999 episode of Beverly Hills 90210. Her next acting milestone was a role on The Young and the Restless, which lasted from 2001 to 2003. She shot to fame in 2004, when she was cast as Gabrielle Solis in the series Desperate Housewives. During this same decade, Longoria was also highly visible elsewhere in the media, appearing in several advertising campaigns as well as topping Maxim’s Hottest Female Stars list two years in a row. Most recently, she starred in the comedy series Telenovela (2015-2016), for which she was also executive producer. Longoria, named 2009’s Philanthropist of the Year by The Hollywood Reporter, has founded two charities (Eva’s Heroes and the Eva Longoria Foundation) and is an active supporter of several others.
