Jane Marie Lynch (born July 14, 1960) is an actress and comedian. She attended Thornridge High School, in Dolton, IL, where she was busy even as a freshman; she participated in debate and was a member of the basketball and tennis teams. Lynch first grabbed the attention of audiences in a big way with her performance in the 2000 mockumentary film Best in Show. She is perhaps best known for her role as Sue Sylvester in the series Glee, a portrayal for which she has won a number of awards, although she has acted in many film and television projects over the years. Lynch also hosts the game show Hollywood Game Night, which premiered in 2013.
