John Stephen Goodman (born June 20, 1952) is an actor. He graduated from Affton High School, in St. Louis, MO, in 1970, where he played on the varsity football team and participated in drama. He was voted “Class Cut-Up” during his senior year; his senior yearbook quote was, appropriately, “Who’s the funny man?” Goodman, whose list of acting credits is impressive, first became well-known for his portrayal of Dan Conner in the comedy series Roseanne. Since then, he has appeared in many films and television shows, including Barton Fink, The Babe, The Artist, Inside Llewyn Davis, and the series Alpha House. Notable voice-over work includes Monsters, Inc. and Monsters University.
