Madonna (born Madonna Louise Ciccone; August 16, 1958) is an American singer and entertainer. She graduated with the class of 1976 from Rochester Adams High School in Rochester, Michigan. In high school, Madonna often performed in front of her school for events like Carnival Week and the school play, but also was a member of the Help-A-Kid staff which helped children in need. In 1982, she released her first album self-titled Madonna. She is best known for chart-topping hits “Like A Virgin”, “Into the Groove”, “Papa Don’t Preach”, “Like a Prayer”, and “Vogue”.
