Charlie Sheen (born Carlos Irwin Estevez, September 3, 1965) is an American actor. He attended Santa Monica High School in Santa Monica, California but was expelled just weeks before graduation for poor grades and attendance.
In high school, a young Charlie Sheen started to take a real interest in acting, and he, his brother Emilio, and friends Rob Lowe and Sean Penn started making Super 8 films.
Later he burst onto the scene in hit films Platoon, Wall Street and Young Guns. Sheen is most commonly known for his role on the show Two and a Half Men, which (at the time) made him the highest paid actor on television. He is the son of actor Martin Sheen and brother to actor Emilio Estevez.
