Christopher Cross (born Christopher Charles Geppert, May 3, 1951) is an American singer and songwriter. He graduated with the class of 1969 from Alamo Heights High School in San Antonio, Texas. In high school, he was on the football and track teams. He received an honorable mention as he graduated high school. He is best known for his hit songs “Sailing”, “Arthur’s Theme” and “Ride Like the Wind”.
