George Herbert Walker Bush (born Jun 12, 1924) is an American Politician and 41st President of the United States. He graduated with the class of 1942 from Phillips Academy in Andover, Massachusetts. In high school, his fellow class members often referred to him as “Pop” or “Poppy”. He was President of his Senior Class, served as Secretary and Treasurer on Student Council, Chairman of Student Deacons, President of Greeks, and on the Business Board of the Pot Pourri (yearbook). He was team captain and played on both varsity soccer and baseball teams.

In 1980, Bush was chosen to run alongside Presidential candidate Ronald Regan. He became the 43rd Vice President of the United States, then won the Presidential Election in 1988 as the 41st U.S. President.
