Meg Ryan (born Margaret Mary Emily Anne Hyra; November 19, 1961) is an American actress. She graduated with the class of 1979 from Bethel High School in Bethel, Connecticut. In high school, she was a member of the Key Club, Student Council, National Honor Society, and on the tennis team. She also served on the yearbook staff and acted in the Senior Play. Ryan had her breakout role in the film When Harry Met Sally. She is well known for starring in films Sleepless in Seattle, French Kiss, City of Angels, and You’ve Got Mail.
