Roseanne Cherrie Barr (born November 3, 1952) is an American actress, comedian, and writer. She attended East High School in Salt Lake City, Utah. In 1988, Barr burst onto the scene in the hit sitcom Roseanne playing Roseanne Harris Conner. In 1989 Barr published her first book, Roseanne My Life As a Women and starred in her first film title, She-Devil. Throughout the decades, Barr has been a part of a variety of shows such as Look Who’s Talking Too, Saturday Night Live, and Roseanne’s Nuts. She also made guest appearances in the televisions show The Larry Sanders Show, General Hospital, 3rd Rock from the Sun, Portlandia, and Last Comic Standing.
