Pamela “Pam” Dawber (born Pamela Gene Dawber: October 18, 1951) is an American actress and producer. She graduated with the class of 1968 from North Farmington High School in Farmington, Michigan. In her senior year, she was part of the art club. In 1978, Dawber burst onto the scene in the hit sitcom Mork & Mindy, playing the lead role of Mindy McConnell. She took the lead again in the following decade, in the television series My Sister Sam (1986-1988), portraying Samantha “Sam” Russell.
