Viola Davis (born August 11, 1965) is an American actress. She attended Central Falls High School in Central Falls, Rhode Island. In high school, a young Viola Davis was involved with the arts program and credits her involvement in the program with her love of acting and theatre.
Davis’ acting career began in the theatre on stage. She is best known for her roles in the hit films Traffic, Antwone Fisher, Solaris, and The Help.
