Janice's Story

I have a dual school allegiance, as I went to Banks my freshman and back for my Senior year,but I went to Wilson High in Washington, D.C. for my sophomore and junior years. I have been married since 1971 to Craig Shannon, and we have two adult children, and they are both married to wonderful people,so we feel quite blessed that they chose well. We have two grandchildren, who live with our son and daughter-in-law in Kona, Hawaii. Our son works for the international headquarters of Youth With A Mission. ...Expand for more
Our daughter curates library for private libraries in Jackson Hole, WY. We miss all of them, but at least we have great places to go and visit! We own Dairy Queens in the Denver, Colorado area, where we have been in business for ourselves since 1977. Dairy Queen has been really good to us, and we know our success comes from God. We have a home with a lower level of 3500 sq feet, where we host missionary families from all over the world. They deserve to be pampered when home, and we love hosting.

Such a wonderful weekend with my daughter Christy! We flew her in for the weekend as a late birthday present for me, and she can't make it home this year for Christmas. We had a day in downtown Denver with River and Meehan
This great Santa Claus is holding my granddaughter with her mom to sign them. This Santa is at union station downtown, and they don't charge anything for photos. Santas helper uses your own phone.
You can't see the measurement, but it's 13 inches!
My valentine just sent me three dozen of the most beautiful red roses!
