Diane's Story
I graduated from EMU with a degree in el ed, I was unable to find a job, you know that time? The early 70's.
I worked for Ford for 20 years in various positions including buyer and cost analyst. I met Matt at Ford and we married in 1979. We didn't have children. After Matt's botched back surgery in '91, Ford gave him a medical retirement in '92. d a barn on about 4 1/2 acres on a deep water creek leading to the ICW.
While I was in my school years, Matt was patching up wounded and dying Marines as a Navy Corpsman in Vietnam. He has reconnected with his "brotherhood" of Marines and we have gained many new friends and attend Marine reunions regularly. I know we lost classmates in that war, but I never felt the impact that I do now, when I s time with these men who witnessed the horrors they endured. Keep them in your prayers.
