Mark's Story

Life After H.S. Graduated from WIU then went to work for John Deere in Columbus Ohio. After 11 yrs quit that job and went to work for Chrysler. In the mean time went back to school and got my MBA in Indiana. I Was the Technical Operations Manager for Chrysler living in Cincinnati but retired in Dec 2008 (see PS below). I then was hired as an adjunct professor for Sinclair College in Dayton Ohio teaching Business Information Systems. I worked there for 3 years when I fell in to a job as the Director of eBusiness and to get eCommerce off the ground for Winsupply. Winsupply is the 2nd largest plumbing, electrical, HVAC, waterworks, irrigation wholesale company in the country with over 600 locations in 46 states. After about 8 years I retired FOR GOOD and love retirement. I have a lovely wife Jill, 3 kids. Erin, the oldest graduated from Miami University and is a mother of our 4 grandkids living in Indianapolis Indiana. My other daughter is living in Seattle Washington and my son also graduated ...Expand for more
from Miami University and currently owns his own business as a personal trainer in Columbus Ohio. I feel lucky that I accomplished everything I wanted to do before I got married. Scuba dove all over the place; did rescue and recovery for Department of Natural Resources; became a pilot; learned technical mountain climbing and climbed several mountains; became a paramedic to volunteer on ambulances; participated in marathon (24 hr) bicycle races; and lots of other stuff. Living the American Dream with the house in the suburbs and great family. I continue to play tennis and pickleball 2-4 times a week . I really haven't kept in touch with people from High School as High School wasn't a very pleasant time for me. Now, with both my parents deceased (Dad 1993 Mom 2005) there is very little reason to ever go back to Geneseo except to visit my folks graves in Rock Island. If you read this, drop me a line.
