co. My 20-year Air Force career concentrated in research and analysis, culminating in the development and field test of high-energy laser weapons. After retiring from the military, I joined a small engineering and analysis company that was soon purchased by Boeing. We designed and demonstrated a series of high-energy laser weapon systems for the military, in aircraft for the Air Force and in trucks for the Army. I worked for Boeing for more than 17 years, then shifted to part-time at a couple small engineering companies for a few years, also in Albuquerque, further supporting the design of high-energy lasers for the Air Force. My wife and I moved to Maryland in 2018.
