This is a “Save the Date” note for the MacArthur Class of 1970 55th Reunion. It is tentatively planned for Saturday, September 13th, 2025. We had such a great time at our last reunion that we would like to meet again, just more informally. As we all realize, the times we can get together are becoming more precious A less formal event means that we could have our 55th Reunion free of charge. Since we have adopted Chef Jay Dikeman, we are hoping to he can help us prepare some of the food and not rely on just catered food. Our treasurer has reported we have some funds left in our reunion account to start the planning process. Obviously, we would again welcome funding sponsors to ensure that this get-together event would be free to all. Here are some suggestions to make this event more meaningful. Several classmates would like to see a web-based sharing site just for the MacArthur Class of 1970. We could upload pictures, videos, or stories about anything we wish to share. We've all experienced a lot at this point, and it would be wonderful for us to learn more about each other. In addition, contests or drawings might be fun. For instance, Gary Geisler thought that we could each bring three of our favorite tee shirts that we have collected over the decades and put them on display. We could then guess whose shirts belong to whom and give prizes for the best shirts. Any ideas or requests will be gratefully accepted. And of course, we are hoping that our Honorary Class DJ, Kerry Barnett, will again be able to provide the best music of the 1960s and 70s. So just do it! Please put this date on your calendar and help us make it another great time together. More information will be available. Stay well and we’ll see you next September.
