[PHS Classes of ‘64 and ‘65 – updated April 30, 2024] TIME TO SAVE YOUR SPOT AT UPCOMING PASSAIC HIGH REUNION Calling all members of Passaic High School’s Classes of 1964 and 1965: The PHS Reunion Committee has established a $55 price and set a July 1 reservation deadline for brunch at the Brownstone, a piece of living history in a quiet section of Paterson. We’ll have music you remember, faces you remember, and an event you won’t forget. And don’t forget the date and time: Saturday, October 19, from noon-4. To make sure you have a much-coveted seat (or two) at this blast from the past, get off your duff, write a check made out to Paula Rudolph Minsky, and send immediately if not sooner to Paula Minsky, 66 Quarry Way, Woodland Park, NJ 07424. Although the event will be the 60 th for the Class of ‘64, it will be the 59 th for the Class of ‘65. But the reunion committee decided there’s strength in numbers, so why wait? Spouses or significant others are certainly invited as well as legitimate PHS alumni. We’re meeting for brunch because too many of us can’t drive at night anymore. You might remember all of our previous reunions were held at night. This one is different, with great food, great camaraderie, but much cheaper tickets. Be there or be square! Want to stay over? Enjoy any of the fine restaurants and hotels in the vicinity. And, since this is a brunch, don’t worry about having to drive at night. The reunion committee picked the Brownstone, selected the menu, and is working on notifying as many alumni as possible. So spread the word, pass the baton, and plan on joining us for what really will be The Last Blast. As an ancient Chinese proverb says, ‘tis better to go out with a blast than a whimper.
