We are back! Come out and join us! Updates: The location has been changed but not the date. Picnic Grove 13 Glover Road NW (near Military Road There is a picnic pavilion and a small stone grill) There is a large parking area next to the picnic area. There is an open, grassy area next to the pavilion but the site is otherwise surrounded by trees. On the opposite side of the parking area from the picnic pavilion, there is a grassy area. An un-mowed meadow sits next to the mowed area. The Western Ridge Trail crosses through this picnic area. Restrooms: No. The closest public restrooms are located within the Rock Creek Park Nature Center and Planetarium. They are only open during operating hours of the Nature Center (Saturday 9 am - 5pm). The restroom location is not that far from Grove #13, according to the map.
