Hello Woodlawn ‘70 classmates! Your reunion committee has been hard at work trying to do the best to have an amazing reunion weekend in an unprecedented time! We were beyond optimistic when our (Maryland) Governor lifted the mask mandate and life was starting to return to normal! In the last few weeks, it has become apparent that another, much more serious wave has hit us and the last thing we want is for anyone to get sick or have to quarantine in a hotel! Even one Illness is one too many! And our venue, the embassy suites, even encouraged us to reschedule in order to avoid a mass exodus at the last minute. They have also graciously agreed to keep our pricing the same (originally booked in 2019)! With that being said, we have made the very difficult decision to move our 50/51st reunion to now a 52nd reunion to be held on 10/22/22! Just think we will be celebrating our 52nd high school reunion and most of us were born in 52 AND we graduated in ‘70 and most of us will be 70 years old! How fun will that be??? We are as disappointed as you, however we are looking forward to an amazing 3-day weekend event (for those that would like to participate in any one or all of the weekend events)! As we did last year, the funds that you paid for your ticket will be kept safely in our reunion account to be applied toward our 52nd reunion!
