Rhea Jo Perlman (born March 31, 1948) is an American actress. She graduated with the class of 1964 at Lafayette High School in Brooklyn, New York. In high school, she was a member of the Speakers’ Bureau, a Go-Getter, and a member of the Choral Club. Perlman is best known for playing Carla, the wisecracking waitress, on the hit show Cheers.
