Robin Gayle Wright (born April 8, 1966) is an actress. She graduated high school from La Jolla High School, in La Jolla, CA, in 1983, where she was a homecoming princess and was voted Best Looking during her senior year.
Robin Wright’s first big acting role was on the soap opera Santa Barbara, where she remained for four years. In 1987, she co-starred as Buttercup in the cult classic film The Princess Bride, which opened the door to other major acting opportunities.
Among other projects, she played Forrest’s love interest, Jenny, in Forrest Gump, took the title role in Moll Flanders, and appeared in The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. Wright has also co-starred in the series House of Cards since 2013 and has directed and/or produced a number of episodes.
