Joan Jett (born Joan Marie Larkin September 21, 1958) is an American singer, songwriter and musician. She attended Wheaton High School in Wheaton, Maryland. In high school, she was part of the drama club. She is best known as lead singer of Joan Jett & the Blackhearts and The Runaways. Her hit songs include “Cherry Bomb”, “I Love Rock ‘n’ Roll”.
