From 1988 until 1997, millions of people turned on their televisions each week to follow the adventures (and misadventures) of the Conners, a blue-collar family from Lanford, Illinois. Perhaps you were one of those people. If so, you’re probably aware that there are new adventures on the way very soon.

Yes, Roseanne is returning to the airwaves. The show is set to premiere its tenth season on March 27^th.

This has gotten us very nostalgic over at Classmates.

So we decided to take a look back.

Okay, we did go a little farther back than 1988. We decided to dive into our yearbook archive.

Roseanne Barr (Roseanne Conner)

Here’s lead actress — and series namesake — Barr as she looked as a junior at East High School (in Salt Lake City, UT) in 1970. We’d recognize that smile anywhere.

John Goodman (Dan Conner)

Displaying an endearing grin, Goodman was a junior at Affton High School (in St. Louis, MO) in his 1969 yearbook picture. He also played varsity football (as evidenced by his portrait from his senior year).

Laurie Metcalf (Jackie Harris)

Looking supremely innocent, here’s Metcalf in 1973, posing for her senior portrait for the Edwardsville High School (Edwardsville, IL) yearbook.
