Peter Lawrence Buck (born December 6, 1956) is an American musician and songwriter. Buck attended Crestwood High School in Dunwoody, Georgia. Buck burst into the rock scene with R.E.M and their first single, Radio Free Europe in 1981. He is one of the co-founding members of the hit group.
