The big day is almost here! CLASS OF 1967 (and friends) REUNION PICNIC Saturday, September 9, from noon to 5 pm, at Donaldson Park, Grove 2 Get ready to party with your favorite old (senior?) teenagers! We’re looking forward to seeing you next weekend for an afternoon of eating, drinking, reminiscing and merrymaking. Our picnics are welcoming and informal — and you might even make friends with fellow Zebras you never knew back in school. Our grove has a covered canopy, so we don’t have to worry about the weather. SPECIAL GUEST DISCOUNT! Admission on the day of the picnic is $25, BUT your guests get admitted for just $10 per person! Pay when you arrive. Admission fee includes all food, drinks and snacks. We’ll be serving burgers, hot dogs and classic New Jersey pork roll sandwiches — along with beer, wine, soft drinks, bottled water, chips, pretzels, watermelon, brownies and cookies. Feel free to BYOB, too (beer and wine only). HOW TO GET THERE From Raritan Avenue (Highland Park’s main street), take South 2nd Avenue toward the river. After you swing left to enter Donaldson Park, make your first right, go past the ball field and make another right. Go all the way to the end of the road, where you’ll find the Grove 2 parking lot. FRIDAY EVENING MEET-UP If you're staying overnight, join your friends at Brunswick Grove (327 Milltown Road in East Brunswick) for dinner and/or drinks the night before the picnic — 5 pm to closing. IMPORTANT! If you’re coming to the picnic but haven’t paid yet, please confirm that you’ll be attending in the comments section below. (It helps us estimate how much food and drink to bring.)
