Alan Douglas Ruck (born July 1, 1956) is a film and television actor. He graduated from Parma Senior High School, in Parma, Ohio, in 1974. In high school, Ruck was active in drama and choir and participated in a number of school productions, including “The Tempest” and “Oliver!” While he is probably most well-known for his portrayal of Cameron in “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off,” Ruck’s list of acting credits is a long one. Movies include “Bad Boys,” “Class,” and “Star Trek: Generations.” TV shows include prominent roles in “Persons Unknown” and “Spin City” as well as many notable guest appearances on other programs.
