Chris Penn (born Christopher Shannon Penn; October 10, 1965 – January 24, 2006) was an American actor. He attended Santa Monica High School in Santa Monica, California. In high school, Penn was part of the wrestling team his junior year. In 1979, Penn made his film debut on Charlie and the Talking Buzzard. Penn went on to be cast in the 1984 hit dance movie, Footloose, along with star Kevin Bacon. He also went on to star in The Wild Life, Reservoir Dogs, The Funeral, Rush Hour, Pale Rider, and even in the video game Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.
