Hugh Marston Hefner (born April 9, 1926) is an American publisher and businessman. He graduated with the class of 1944 from Steinmetz High School in Chicago, Illinois. In high school, he was president of student council, a member of Star, on Student Court, the Green Curtain Players, As We Like It, track, and the Choral Society. Hefner is best know for founding and publishing the adult magazine Playboy.
